Shelters

Oak Grove Lodge - $75.00. Seating capacity of 100 people, has heat and AC, running water, refrigerator and modern bathrooms, and a fireplace. Table and chairs are available for setup.

Big Sioux Shelter - $25.00. Seating capacity of 50 people. Picnic table for sitting, 2 fireplaces, pit toilet, and water located outside of the building.

There are 2 open shelters available to the public at the Oak Grove Big Sioux Park free of charge they both contain electricity and picnic tables, these shelters area located down by the river and are available first come first serve.

Alton Shelter - $40.00 a day. Need to call Alton Casey’s General Store to reserve. Casey’s General Store phone number: 712-756-4412.

Cabin Rentals

Oak Grove has four (4) cabins available by reservation, between the months of April 15 and November 1.

Whitetail Lodge and Eagle Nest cabin are $55.00 a night with a 2-night minimum. These cabins are one room and have a front deck and are accessible by persons with disabilities. Each of these cabins contain two (2) sets of bunk beds, each with a full and twin mattress, sleeping 6 people.

Bluegill Bungalow and Fox's Den cabin are $65.00 a night with a 2-night minimum. These cabins contain an open living and kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom. These both have a front deck and are accessible by persons with disabilities. There is a queen size bed, a full and twin size pull out mattress, sleeping 5 people.

All cabins have electricity, heat and AC, sinks with hot and cold running water, shower, toilet, microwave, small refrigerator, inside eating area. Picnic table and fire ring with grill are provided by each cabin. Renters are responsible for own linens, cooking and eating utensils and toiletry items, etc.

Canoe Rental

$18/day per canoe
$10/half day per canoe

Oak Grove has four (4) canoes available to rent by reservation. Available for use in the Sioux County area and along the Big Sioux River in Lyon, Sioux and Plymouth Counties. Canoes are transported by person(s) reserving canoe.
